Hi all
As a staff in Hamad hospital, I am very happy to read these positive remarks and comments.
I think people here are doing their best to treat patients, although we still need to improve some of the facilities, but still, compared to gov. hospitals I saw in some other middle east countries, HMS is nearly the best of all.
The main problem now is the crowdedness, People in qatar are more than the capacity of the hospital. Sometimes we admit patients from ER, and they stay there for few days waiting for empty beds!!
And on the contrary, some patients and their families refuse to go home despite improvement.
My last comment to kinimoto is that all doctors really should watch patch adams, which is based on a true story, and it is full of good ideas on how to deal with patients (communication skills) which most of staff lack
thanks to all
