هر = cat (hirr) هرة = female cat (hirrah) هريرة = kitten (hurairah)
A famous companion of the Prophet Muhamed (PBUH) was nicknamed Abu Hurairah (أبو هريرة, Father of a Kitten) because he had a cat, and loved raising them.
