Why are you claiming the contract is in the landlord's favor? You’re unaware of the stipulations therein until this minute, I guess.

By the way, my contract was in English, although I'm an Arabic speaker. I took it home to read and signed it the next day. I even corrected it linguistically for them(free of charge).
