Generally people measure their self importance by things like this. Probably means he isnt as important as he thinks he is.

Did anything happen with the police? If you are on your propert and he is a guest he is indeed way out of line. It would have been interesting how the police handled this.... would thay have charged you with hurting his pride lol.
