If you examine American history...civil wars and everything that leads to how the US constitution was made..you will be amazed and filled with respect to such an example...it stands for liberity, freedom of speech, supporting peace and the rest of the fascinating words.
However, they don't implement it nowadays...they may refer to it..but actual actions are far off..
they invaded Iraq based on lies, they torture people, they spy on american people themselves and the list goes on and on and on.
