I think I see where MissX and seny0rite are coming from, and it's a question I've often wondered about;
If the point of a Muslim woman covering herself up is so she doesn't attract any attention to herself, why do they wear fitted abayas and wear make up and perfume?
Or is a case of them wearing abayas as a form of national identity, and isn't really anything to do with religion any more?
