Ashwin, it's gud that you r keeping the track. But don't loose the thread. Building has base. The base is based on groud / soil or earth. But earth itself doesn't have base. But earth has bond (in scientific terms the gravitational force). It's that invisible bond between earth and sun which keeps earth floating around the sun.

It's like on the ground we measure length with linear meter but in sea it's curvilinear meter. It's like when we enter from one time zone to another time zone. we need to adjust our watches to new time zone. Even though our watch is on tract we need to change the time to adjust the new time zone or we will not be with time.

we are not discussing what humans are doing ; good or bad. We are discussing very bottom question: what's the purpose of human life?
