Al sadd is one of the most central areas in Doha. Nice street, nice shops around including the Royal Plaza Mall...No beaches though...:) Beaches are mostly in the hotels or far out of Doha... Usually compounds in Doha in general, and on Al Sadd street in particular have swimming pools...
In general, it is one of the best areas in Doha.. but the traffic is terrible.. like actually anywhere else in the city..
