And i beleive the original question was put not with the view of propagating particular thought.

well, obviously we have to take the help from various religion when we sought answers for such questions. But again beliving into it without giving much thought and forcing others to follow it - isn't it a cause of war? And we are discussing why there are wars!

Serving who has created us that could be the one of the goal. Say parents give birth to children with the purpose of taking care of the parents. Similarly, god / creator, has created the human to serve, worship him.

But then the question comes what is the purpose of other form of life? Why not create only humans who will worship and serve him.
