I love dumb threads.

Sometimes they start when someone makes a dumb remark. Others start smart, but turn dumb (such as the free press thread).

Dumb threads are like serial killers. Just when you think they are dead, they rise, yet again, when someone elses makes another dumb remark.

Goludumdum, the problem is basically that there is no polite way to tell someone that *they already know the answer*.
