thanks for your words. As i have said, as much as possible we never left her alone with the baby and if on several days that her parents were both on duty (morning shift, 6 to 2), i always checked her out by phoning her all the time. life in Doha especially when you have babies is really hard. that i have realized now. she is my grandchild and we preferred not to take her to baby sitters outside for fear of everything (contagious illness, etc). now thankfully i have found someone who could sponsor a Filipina housemaid (close relative) and this will solve the problem.
