Hi dk - Right then - please dont look at the old forums regarding the Doha College interview proceedure as most of them are debates on the rights and wrongs of interviewing a 3 year old and they wont be any help at all. Tell you what you should do - call Doha college primary and ask them what the procedure is. They will tell you that it is very informal and not at all scary for the parents or for the children. My little girl had an interview with Doha college some time ago and we all arrived (parents and children) and were seated in the library area. The children were encouraged to have a good look around at the books whilst they waited. Tea and coffee was in copious supply for nervous parents. The nursery teacher came up to the library and spoke to the parents about what would happen - basically she takes the children down to the classroom for a play during which time the teachers talk to the children and observe them. I found that all the children were quite happy to go with the teacher as the idea of having a play was too tempting to miss! The parents remained in the library and had a chat and after a short time the parents were invited to go to the classroom and collect their children. After a few days we were advised on whether or not a place had been awarded and that was it.
