I cant give you a educated reply on this coz i come from a village and never went to school, but i can say that NOTHING is grown in Qatar as far as i know, everything is imported. With the current world crisis, exporting countries are hiking up their prices too, so that they can earn foreign exchange, its only logical to find increase prices on everything. Also there is no such thing as price regulation here or if there is no one checks.
