That's a real shame, it would have been nice to meet up with everyone for a social, guess there are bars that attract mostly Brits then? (although obviously i'm up for meeting lots of nationalities)

I heard that Al Khor Compound is quite a laugh, the principal's wife told me that the teachers regularly get together and there is quite a bit going on, would be nice to venture into Doha to check out what's happening over there, the shops look amazing!
