Have to disagree with with the poster who had a poor experience with Dr. Lubna at Family Dental. I've had extensive work done (and I knew before I went it was required - stuff that hadn't been followed up in North America for various reasons).
I think that sometimes we have different and conflicting experiences with doctors/dentists because of our own expectations/attitudes/previous experiences. This is not to say that the previous poster was "wrong" just that I had a good experience with the same dentist.
I've recommended a doctor at home in Canada to a friend, she didn't like her so switched to someone else. Personality (of both the patient and the practicioner) can also be a big factor.
