Even when the papers try to report it the get hushed up and editors get removed. So regardless of how much we moan about it or how many people boycott the malls, nothing will change til the government does something about it.

That doesn't seem likely to happen as the last comment they gave was along the lines of "the shopping malls can set whatever policies they want, it's nothing to do with us".

It seems to have conveniently escaped the government's notice that the shopping malls are directly contradicting the constitution of Qatar, which states no-one will be treated differently because of their race.

If people were that fussed about human rights, racial discrimination, etc, etc then they'd have made the ultimate boycott and left Qatar long ago. Guess the money is too important though.
