Saw the bird in Souq Waqif a few days ago. It's in one of the stores facing towards the corniche, it's called Bird something, with red benches lined outside the store.

I saw there some falcons with caps completely covering their eyes. The storekeeper said only the person who will eventually become its owner can take it off. They believe that the falcon considers the first person he sees to be his master.

I don't know if it's the normal practive with the falcons, but it's seems very cruel to treat the birds like that.

And they are very expensive too, one cost as much as 10,000 riyals.
