GT, I think the locals still do play with their cars by flipping it on 2 wheels like stunt drivers. I remember a QL cricket game I attended and there was 1 such local practicing his moves. He only stopped when Oryx spoke to him nicely to kindly stop as it was quite dangerous and the guys were starting off the game nearby.
Having said that, they may or may not still be doing that on the Corniche after "the strict implementation of traffic rules" as you said.
