Agree with Justmoi. I have said my piece earlier and stand by it.
gregbais, your communication of your intention above is noted. No. 1 and 2 are good. No. 3 is flawed:-
"3. ... you will find how fellow filipinos and other nationalities (UK, US, Pakis, etc. - granting they're declaring their true nationalities) appreciate it."
- There is another side to the situation, as I've stated before - to those who have lost their jobs and have huge car loans and house mortgages to pay (note: not necessarily Westerners but also Asians - eg. the Indian nationals, your own countrymen and women, etc. I reiterate that "It's no joke - very trying times."
"Well, except you and a malaysian who is much concern about the car loans of westerns than our foods (wants versus needs presented herein)."
- Your bruised ego is showing. It doesn't affect me at all. But what shows is you got blinded by my 2nd paragraph in my 1st post above and missed my opening sentence - which was to congratulate you for your good fortune in these trying times.
The 2nd para onwards was not about you. And for the avoidance of doubt, no, right from the beginning even before I posted my 1st reply above, I did not miss the point about your attempt to encourage your countrymen and I applaud you for that. However, I merely commented on the wider perspective - that there are others in turmoil. Please be compassionate.
No further comment.
