Hi all.... did some scouting around this morning and we have some options as far as nets go...
1 - Continue with the current set of poles... No cost, but the may need some work to make them a bit more solid.
2 - 32mm diameter Galvanised Poles cost about QR55 for 3m length.... they are stronger and thicker. But we would need someone who could cut and make up a set of poles for the volleyball. They also come in 40mm - 50mm thicknesses... I'm looking at following up on this option for now.
3 - Beach Volleyball Set - Sports Corner Co. on Salwa Rd sells a complete set that they get from the UK... Guy there tells me it retails for QR2400 but I glimpsed the cost price, which is around QR1900.... so if anyone wants to invest in the own good quality set... this is an option.
