1. If you are here only for 12-15 months its better to go for a rent car. You can buy a decent used car for QR.25-30K plus depending on the make.
2. A decent two bedroom flat cost 7k minimum ….you might need only single bedroom..but its not very easily available. a furnished two bedroom flat will cost around 9 to 10K depending on the location.
3. It will cost minimum 20K to furnish an apartment, if you are planning only a short stay its better to go for furnished flat… I think you can even get a studio flats for 6 to 8K.
If you go for rent car and furnished flat you can avoid the hassle of selling your stuff while going back.
