Ngourlay - not everyone is sponsored. There have been cases of some south asian labourers who have come into the country and literally never see their residence visas. their supposed sponsors never even bother to pick them up from the airport and keep telling them that they'll (the sponsors) get the residence visas for them but htat never happens.
But good on you jasminejasmine - perhpas we can get the foodcourts to save over the perfectly good food they insist on throwing away and donate it to these people. Some of us QLers (including me) could form some sort of group?? Does that sound ludicrous or just wouldn't work in Qatar?
