m an expat here. been here for 2 months and actually i agree with u looking for friends beyond work is gruelling but it ca be pulled off.
if ur a football fan i reckon u can hit some sports bar on saturday and sunday night and watch LIVERPOOL(if u want me in ur friends circle), manu(if u dont want me in ur friend circle lolz) or anyother team (if u think anyother is worth being a fan of except real , barca and ac milan)
BTW as of football , if u manage to find football game u can count on me as right now a bit out of shape and stamina but tough tackling no non sense good reader or the game defender or defensive midfielder.
