Dont know why but I just remembered a story about King Edward the VII and his mistress Lilly Langtree. He was lambasting her about how much money she was costing him in clothes and he reputedly told her,
"I have spent enough on you to build a new battleship",
to which she replied,
"And SPENT enough in me to float it ".
