I would love to think that this is the final stage of processing my visa, however, since I received this news, I have been doing a bit of research into what CID clearance actually is, and it seems rather complex. Apparently, they look through a database full of Qatari nationals to see whether there is anyone else, who is local who they believe has the right qualifications for the job in question. This makes me feel somewhat uneasy, as a 23 year old, I have a degree, but only a year and a half worth of experience. This may be detrimental to my application. I will just have to wait and see I suppose. Best of luck to the rest of you.
