Oh, my goodness, crazy is the word for that article. There are no facts or statistics, no historical perspective, no attribution. It is an hysterical anti-zionist rant relying on the "everybody knows" argument. Fortunately it is a "column" by a guest writer, not a news article. And it is a big deal. All that a news organization has to offer is journalistic integrity. When that is lost, all credibility is gone and the medium becomes untrustworthy. I pray that this doesn't happen in Qatar. I really cherish freedom of the press, when that is gone things get a little scary in this world. The Arab world must take note of the fact that the Israelis really know how to manipulate the media. Tzipi Livni is a consummate spokesperson for the Israeli propaganda. Even Netanyahu manages to sound reasonable in interviews although he gives me the shudders. They know better than to use inflammatory rhetoric that can backfire on them later. It's only when you watch their actions does the real agenda come out.
