I am from Crete (Greece) and about 2-3 months ago I won an award in the photographic competition "The Al-Thani Award for Photography 2008" and I have been invited in Doha for about 5 days for the award ceremony. I will be staying at the Sheraton Hotel. My question is how much money would it be wise to have for these 5 days in Qatar.
I would also like to know the most important sights (preferably with a photographic interest) that I could visit. I have found some of them by looking around on the internet, but I'm sure indigenous people will be of help. One last question, what is the weather over there at this time of year, will I be able to go for a swim? :)
