As far as i know u cannot ship cars older than 3-5 years old... Because of the Anti-dumping laws... Also if u get permssion in vintage categories u will have to pay around 100-150% tax ont the value of the car when in new.
Things can be easier if ur actually quiting residence in qatar.
There is a lot of factor in which u shud'nt take this risk
1. U wont get good maintainance
2. INdia is right Hand side driving. Difficut for u to over take in Highways.
3. there are better cars on indian roads now.. Now that all the cars are being made in india... from nissan to BMW and merc.. toyota...
