Hey, I like QBS. Very much, I might add. Not everything's up my street but the variety's good.

Disagree with frenky-d. It's not "half the time...in french" - it's only an hour in the morning and another (or a few other times during the day,I dunno.. but anyway, definitely not very long), jolly good variety on my drive to and fro work. Music is nice and I think better nowadays, nice upbeat numbers. I don't listen to the radio all day, only on the drive to and from work. Sometimes, the choice of music is a bit boring so I switch channels to the Arabic one. Between the 2, I'm duly entertained.

Newsreaders - yes, their pronunciation can be quite bad, like the lady this morning. Dunno her name. But I thought that since English is obviously not her primary language, she did pretty well. And the message was understood. The purpose of any communication is so that the recipients can understand what was communicated. High standards are something they should strive for but not everybody gets there in a short time. And perfection - no one.

There are many things that could be better but as long as you people keep complaining, that should keep them on their toes.

And what's wrong with the prayers on QBS? It's a call to prayer and applicable across the board. We either get used to it or switch off the radio or put on your own cassette or CD.
