It is only here that it really sucks. It is the bad attitude of the people working (no customer service, not interested in job, chatting away, no proper attention, ....) at the bank, not the bank itself."
- But the people ARE the bank - to the customers it serves - they either make or break the bank. In Malaysia, yes, very efficient customer service, even for insignificant people like me. They have monitoring systems in place where calls attended to by the customer service reps are recorded, where the managers can be put on notice of bad service. It helps a lot to have a monitoring system in place.
Btw, for transfers from here to Malaysia, it takes 3 working days, even HSBC to HSBC. Ridiculous! They are apparently separate entities altogether. But I suppose they can bend their rules for premier cardholders. After all, they would want to maintain their status. I'm happy with my HSBC in Malaysia. It's the one here that's terrible. I hope they change for the better some time.
