Mohamed Fathy - I don't feel the need to express my concern for either side on QL. But I do feel the need to correct people who make sweeping generalisations about all non-muslims and non-arabs. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and accept that you were trying to say that Muslims/Arabs feel more connected to the Palestinians. Your wording sounded far harsher than that though.

And I don't think Israel sat there and went, "Well they killed 1 of ours, so we'll kill 282 of theirs". Someone launched an attack on them, so they attacked back. One attack proved to be far more effective than the other, for whatever reasons.

abohmaid - some would say that you are only showing sympathy for one side. You've constantly tried to assert that the Israelis are the only "barbarians" here. I think you need to look at yourself before accusing others of a lack of sympathy.

coolking - I'm not discussing whether one side or the other is right to do what they've done. I'm saying that if you provoke people there'll be a response. So in answer to your question; no I would not expect them to sit and watch.
