very naive. Did you not think to ask if there would be a dishwasher/washer/dryer provided BEFORE you moved into the villa? Assuming that all children are being brought up by TWO parents is, again, very narrow-minded. If someone chooses to have a nanny either part-time or live-in that is none of your business. Each to his own but you sound very negative and, if that is the case, why don't you get on the next big white bird back to Canada (since you seem to think it is so much better there). I left Canada in 1993 and have lived in several different cultures where I certainly didn't "assume" things would be anything like Canada. Why not open your mind, try to shed your Canadianisms and make the best of your time in Qatar rather than bitching about it. I stand corrected if you have been "forced" to live in Qatar, which I highly doubt!
