In a relationship but fallen for someone else? That means no commitment in the 1st place, always on the lookout for someone better. Sorry to say that shows lack of character and maturity, not knowing oneself well enough to be clear on one's priorities. Make a decision and stand by it, through thick and thin.
To answer your question - I do not cheat but I have been cheated before, more than once - hence my training in the school of life. Every time, it hurts very deeply but I pull myself together, with the help of God and friends. With hindsight, I see that I am better off without them, at least I'm not tied down to a sorry excuse for a man and suffering for the rest of my life.
Been criticized for being a commitment phobic - lol! But if that's the price of being crystal clear and uncompromising because it's imperative, then so be it.
