In our place there is an old saying that when male hen gets into his youth he walks at the edges of the roof of house, thinking because of his power & weight the house will come down :).
So, what I understand from this guy's attitude is similar :) good education, good linguistic proficiency makes him think he'll fetch a job of 25k immediately after getting out of college / university but reality hurts when a person steps into a practical life :) Its the combination of both intelligence + good education & luck where a person gets a dream job immediately after finishing studies but 95% of ppl have to start from junior level in order to reach that position where a person's experience is equivalent to QAR 25K or more p.m :)
