This is a very important issue for you since your job acceptance will probably be determined by whether or not your husband can sponsor your son. I have heard several differing experiences with this and suggest you do a search on "step son," "step child," etc here in QL. Then you should call the British Embassy here and talk to consular services for their advice. Finally you should get an opinion from your husband's prospective employer. Good luck!
