7000 QAR is not much if you have a family living with you. QF has it's own compounds which are very close to work but they are full. they are renting apartments in other buildings around the city so you might try seeing if they can provide you with an apartment instead of an allowance.
QF treats its people well, but if you are a go getter, or someone who likes to improve things and make things better, it will be challenging. QF needs people like that but there are many people currently working there who are not like that. if you don't get frustrated easily then it would probably be good.
QF is huge so the more important question for you is whether the manager/team you are working for is good.
