Well... one way he can stay in the country would be till the last hours of his RP validity. And the other... well, they can request the immigration (Speak to the captain) stating the need to entend his stay in Qatar for about a week since the notice of been 'fired' came in late and there ain't much hours left b4 the RP expires.
