yes, but it is still gross. Would you pick your nose in front of people or do other gross things in public (scratch yourself in a certain spot) as well? When I need to clear my throat (spit) I quickly go to a private place (bathroom) and do my business there. If that's not possible, at least they could be a little more discreet.
