Ahh, Brit... now I get the connections. A local bottling company in Canada (Nova Scotia = New Scotland) brought out this pop (not alcho pop ;) called Iron Bru. It was in a non-nonense bottle with a plain white cover that just said the name. It is like every soda you have ever drank all mixed together in this black on first site soda (which morphs into purple as you hold it up to the light but looks green when you spill it). I loved it... now I get the relation, and I have to mention I am a Scot/Welsh breed. Enjoy me haggis in Machynlleth...
