You're quite right Britexpat. To the average man who has not had the fortune of being educated, the white man is probably regarded with mistrust. But to those who have had the priviledge of learning from the legacy of many distinguished scholars who happened to be white eg those in the judiciary/scientific fields etc we know better than to judge a significant portion of a race based on the idiocy of one man. All comes done to education I guess, and quite frankly the West has more educated people and is thus expected to make the more informed and less emotionally driven decision.
