If the man or woman was white and stood his own ground with respect to politics, then I would certainly vote for him/her. We have plenty of Kenyans who are caucasian/asian...but do they get involved in politics? Rarely! The Asians are the Doctors and the lawyers and the businessmen while the Caucaions are more into farming etc...Perhaps they're just not interested or their own fears of "will I be accepted given the colonial past" is what stops them.
Personally I would vote for the man/woman whose character and policies appealed to me most. If he/she happens to be white, my vote would still go to that person.
