try to apply for transfer under your husband's sponsorship a bit before your contract is over, or right after.
it is sure possible to transfer your sponsorship under your husbands name for some nationalities.. the only problem is that you are Brit, and since new rules have been recently implemented, I think even authorities by themselves are not quite sure what exactly to do in this or that particular case. And really, don't ask them in advance, they won't tell you, due to the above mentioned reason.. Just try to apply and see the responce..
