On the Recent posts/My Recent posts tab you see all recent post threads. Some threads expand to multiple pages and you cann't go to the selected page of the thread without visiting the first page. The page links you see at the bottom of the page should appear ajacent to each recent topic along with the number of new posts. Hope you got my point..
As for the login part, I misunerstood the concept.but I think links to recent topics can be presented to guest without 'number of new posts' info over a short period...
