I'm glad Obama won, but Brit's right, it was just a speech. For me the key parts were these;
"This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were."
and
"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term. But, America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there."
If change is going to come it will take a long time and there are bound to be bad bits along the way. I hope the American public (and the World) give them the chance and the time to do it, and more importantly that they actually try and do what they've promised.
