Hi Miss.Steph,
Don't get your own visa even if you can. You can get sponsored by your husband. This will be perfect for you and him. Usually the housing supplementary for families is much higher than bachelors (Put in mind rent is really high). So your husband can make an impressive extra amount. Most of the time that extra allowance is not given till the family is in the country under his sponsorship.
On the other hand, you can work without having to change sponsors. And there is a big advantage there, you can work, and also change jobs!
Changing jobs is usually very hard if you have your own visa. Most of the time, even if you get a sponsor release, immigration will reject the transfer. Which by then means you lost your sponsor and you can't get a new one...therefore you have 2 weeks to leave.
