i agree with all pplz criticizing British school here in Qatar, as I have a very bad experience with some English school named Al Maha English school. They simply cheating ppls, all its reputation is as propaganda and nothing is real,
My girls were in Palestinian school, and moved this year to Al Maha English School, in class 4 & 5. I am soo disappointed and felt blameworthy to believe what been told about it.. all this comes after I reviewed the books that cost lots of money, ( QR 2500 then reduced to 900 !!!) and the way of teaching even there are shortages with teachers as one teacher give 3 to 4 subjects,, can you emagine ,, any way,,, , in most of the subjects are under my expectation and even under the level of what they have been taken in Palestinian school, in some topics one year behind and some other may be two years,, specially in math., science and Arabic, even in the level of English grammar I found out my girls take them all last year.
regarding the class management,, i would not tell,,, even i asked for a plan what would the girls will learn this year,, what is the out comes should be.. i got no answeres,
I went back and complain but get some answers, i really dose not convinced, but there is nothing to do as it is too late and there is no other school to accept them now, but I am looking for a good school for the next semester if possible
