....would not miss the driving experiences for the World!!
....the summer heat ... fantastic!!
... the news papers exercising their right of 'freedom of the press' sublime!!
... where else is there 24/7 free stock car racing you can be involved in!!
.. queue jumping at supermarkets, junctions etc an experience to savour!!
... running out of water in mid summer, exquisite!!
.. begging the boss for an exit visa when going on leave, so humbling!!
... being fined for speeding while 3000km away on holiday, wonderbar!!
.. being ripped off by the landlord year after year .... my pleasure!!
.. oh the list goes on ............ hang on, why am I still here ............. quick boss, exit visa please, please !!!
But to be serious (yes, above was a joke so give me a break!!!:-)I could drum up a similar list for most places) So there must be something keeping the long timers here. Maybe it is the thought of what lies in store for them back home, it is obviously not as appealing as staying here, all things taken into context, as mallrat & qatarkiwi said, it's the same for me, it's for the dosh, dosh, dosh!!!.
Oh, and to answer the original post question, yes, I would do it again, Qatar ain't that bad, warts and all!!
