I've been trying to get to Cuba myself for the 50th anniversary of the revolution and now that you mention it, my opinion is that you go there and make sure that you want her THAT bad, i mean this could just be a phase that you are going through because she is different from all the things that are "normal" to you, i think you should be certain before anything :)
