why dont you pay a visit to the Hamad Hospital NICU and see for yourself? You dont have to believe a word that I am saying. Better still, talk to the nurses there.. Seeing is believing afterall..
The NICU in Al-Ahli is incapable of handling any complications, if it occurs during childbirth. And if they cannot resolve it, the parents are told to take the baby to Hamad Hospital..
In the incident that i mentioned, the baby been taken out using forceps and the doctor pressed the baby's head quite hard and a vein ruptured (dont know the actual medical term) in the baby's head. It got clotted and they did not diagnose it till the baby started shivering and then after all the scans, the parents were told to take the baby to Hamad Hospital. And all this while, they had injected the baby with some other medications as well which was not needed. Hamad Hospital could not start the treatment till these unwanted medications were flushed out of the baby's body.. Luckily, the baby is recovering and that is all that matters in the end.
I do not want to disclose the nationality of the doctor or the parents, but if you do care for your baby, go to Hamad Hospital.
