Do these people ever read the news? No, they don't. But they do read the "news" - FOX, and that's it.
FOX puts their spin on it, and propagates the lies, and because so many people on the right think that anyone who reports anything different to FOX is part of the liberal media conspiracy, they don't pay it any attention. That's why so many years later, many Americans still believe Saddam had links with Al Qaeda, or Saddam had WMD, or Obama is a muslim, or whatever.
